Well just got back from Ad:Tech trade show yesterday. Good show. Lots of people there, lots of companies we all know and love were there, Green Light, Big Mouth Media, Cheeze, Web Optimiser and Latitude, the big 5 as I like to call them. In addition to this it was great to see some up and coming SEO companies there, namely Just Searching. Yes I know, before you ask, FireflySEO should also have been exhibiting there, but afraid to say we failed to get things organised in time so managed only as visitors this year. Well off to my first AD:Tech conference at London Olympia tomorrow. Been meaning to go for past two years now but just never found the time so am looking forward to it this year round. I thought it was a bit of a trek for me living all the way over in East London, then I figured some of our associates are coming all the way from our Liverpool and Stirling offices so not to complain. Unfortunately this happened to us when we were mucking about with development of our Wordpress template. Well, looks like those meddling politicians over in the USA have been at it again. Blinking Pandora radio seem as if they might be on the verge of “obliteration” as they quote on the home page of their web site. Pandora is definitely one of my favourite sites and certainly one of the most popular Internet radio sites on the web. In protest to the potential “Internet Radio Equality Act” which proposes to triple the licensing costs of streaming music over the internet Pandora have declared a day of silence suggesting to all their users that they can phone up their relevant US senator to complain. Has any one noticed that wikipedia links are still passing some juice? I gotta say, I’ve been looking into it and noticing that things seem to be still giving a bit of love. Think about it really. Google has to make up its results from somewhere and the trust that the Wiki enjoys is definitely up there. Anyone else had any experience of this?
